Hey in that location!

I've got a fun review for you today and if you're a blonde, yous'll probably take a bigger appreciation for it since the products are tailored to blonde, color-treated hair. For my darker haired friends, yous may nevertheless be interested in learning about the Dessange Paris brand since they do have other products for all types of color treated hair.

I was so excited to have the opportunity to review the California Blonde Collection from Dessange Paris because I'm always on the spotter for affordable products that will keep my blonde hair looking, well, blonde (not flippant). Blonde pilus is very delicate and so information technology's important to accept bully care of it – particularly if it's color-treated – so I've included some bonus tips for blondes at the bottom.

Well-nigh Dessange Paris:

Introducing the latest products from Dessange. Jacques Dessange established the Dessange brand in 1954 when he opened his commencement salon in Paris by the prestigious Champs-Elysées, attracting glamorous celebrities and later becoming the Official Hairstylist at the Cannes Film Festival. Today, Dessage, a symbol of French luxury, provides its unique and sophisticated hairdressing expertise through a network of over 400 salons in 45 countries. The brand now expands with the launch of a new, premium mass brand, offering exclusive salon techniques at home.

Most my pilus:

To provide a off-white review, I feel it'south important to disclose this.

  • Naturally blonde (as a child it was white; getting darker every bit I get older)
  • Fine (just I have a LOT)
  • Contains highlights and lowlights at the moment
  • Very long (currently below my bra strap; whoa.)

The products included in the California Blonde Drove:

  • Illuminating Shampoo 8.5 oz.
  • Illuminating Conditioner 6.7 oz.
  • Contumely Color Correcting Crème iv.2 oz.
  • Illuminating Elixir 3.iv oz. (not received; non included in review)

My Thoughts:

The Dessange Paris California Blonde Collection has a very strong odour. With that said, I honey it and then does Roger. To me, information technology smells actually, actually good! The first time I used all of the products, my hair was still nicely scented going into my 2nd day of not washing information technology (I try to wash every 2nd or 3rd mean solar day). If you're sensitive to odor, y'all might wanna have a 'lil sniff before you buy. I feel similar it's a love it or hate information technology kind of smell given its forcefulness.

Shampoo: Only need a modest amount, lathers up actually well! I was surprised by the lather. I was previously using a popular salon brand that I purchased afterward my latest salon session and it didn't lather like this stuff. I don't know what it is simply a nice soap just makes me experience like my hair is getting clean. I'm not a pro and have no idea if it really makes a difference but if you love soap, this stuff has it.

*I concentrate a small amount of shampoo on my scalp (near nickel-size) and permit information technology run through the ends of my hair to forestall dryness.

Conditioner: A runnier consistency than what I'm used to (merely it'southward not bad). A trivial of this goes a long mode as well which I really capeesh since my hair is and then long. Seems to aid detangle as well because I noticed my hair is easier to comb through later using this. Too worth noting: I commonly add a fiddling exit-in conditioner earlier combing but for review purposes I omitted information technology and in one case I stale my pilus, it felt soft and conditioned. It was like a get out-in wasn't actually needed. With summertime coming, I will probably withal utilize one here and there but overall I felt similar this stuff conditions my hair really well.

Brass Color Correcting Crème: This. I am in dear with this. It'southward CC cream for your hair! Purple shampoo is a must for blondes to go on hair from getting brassy and this stuff is amazing. Information technology's a rinse-out treatment containing linseed oil and bluish pigments to neutralize brassiness. Only exit on for 5-10 minutes AT Almost because like all other blueish or imperial shampoos, it tin plow your hair blueish, regal or argent/gray if left on for besides long! (will eventually go away)Recommended usage is one time per week or as needed to control brassiness.

It's very pigmented and I love that the cap twists open:

Overall:

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I love this line. It smells amazing, the scent lasts more than a mean solar day, information technology leaves my hair feeling soft and makes combing my hair a lot easier. Here comes a huge picture of my face/hair (deplorable!) so yous can come across the color in natural daylight.

No filter. No makeup. Just focus on the hair. Haha!

I love that this line is affordable. Yous can get information technology at Target (like I needed another reason to go there!) and products range in price from $9.99 to $eleven.99. Great at all.

Bonus Hair Tips for Blonde Hair

  • Wash hair every ii to three days
  • Employ a small amount of shampoo and focus on roots; let shampoo run through ends
  • Concentrate conditioner on mid-length and ends and away from scalp to go on the pilus soft and roots oil-free
  • Invest in a skilful quality dry shampoo (if your roots tend to become oily the day after washing)
  • Use a blueish/majestic shampoo in one case a week (or as needed) to keep brassiness abroad
  • Use a heat protectant when using heat on your hair
  • Allow your pilus air dry if yous can handle it (since my pilus is wavy, I like to rummage it, stick in a loose braid and vesture it until it's about dry; the result is smooth waves)
  • Blow dry out on the "cool" setting (I dearest doing this because blow drying my pilus on "warm" or "hot" always makes me sweat!)
  • Utilize UV protection
  • Utilize a deep conditioning hair treatment once per week (or every bit desired)

I hope yous've enjoyed reading my review and personal experience with the new-to-Us Dessange Paris California Blonde Collection line of hair care. Simply a reminder that I was non compensated for this post but I did receive these products free from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.
